GRC Business Analyst

Job purpose

As a CastleHill GRC Business Analyst, you will provide client support in the implementation and development of industry-leading GRC platforms for companies in highly regulated industries.  We operate as partners in the truest sense, working daily as an extension of the client team in defining and delivering systems that meet or exceed expectations.  Below are some of the key areas of focus for a GRC Business Analyst:

• Facilitating detailed process decomposition discussions and process mapping
• Management of the SDLC utilizing an Agile methodology
• Liaison between the business and technical teams responsible for the delivery of functional systems
• Documenting requirements and updating project artifacts
• Development of test plans and scripts for both QC and UAT
• Hands-on participation in testing when required

Duties and responsibilities

Below are the basic job duties and responsibilities of a GRC Business Analyst:

• Manage and participate in remote scrum meetings

• Facilitate meetings with the goal of decomposing processes
• Solicitation and documentation of business requirements and updating of project artifacts
• Managing of the user story backlog; both editing and prioritizing new and rework stories
• Develop test plans and test cases/scripts
• Facilitate/coordinate/participate in both QC and UAT testing as required

Qualifications

Below are the types of qualifications we consider important to success.  Candidates are not required to meet all qualifications for consideration:

• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum)
• Clear understanding of the SDLC
• Expert at soliciting and developing business requirements
• Highly organized with excellent stamina (projects move rapidly)
• Understanding of risk and compliance in a regulated industry and the relationships between regulations, policies, procedures and controls
• Experience with industry standard GRC tools in either a superuser or developer role (ex. ArcherIRM, ProcessUnity, OneTrust, ServiceNow)
• Ability to work remotely 90% (work from home) with 10% domestic travel
• Flexibility to work across time zones
